To help keep you safe online, the Tribe Broadband network is designed with multiple layers of protection, distributed across a scalable, secure infrastructure.
We commission security experts to perform penetration tests on Tribe's infrastructure to find our vulnerabilities. Those are then prioritised and diligently patched. We use an automated vulnerability scanner to continually monitor our app for possible security issues. We check 3rd party code against known vulnerability databases.
We use Stripe to help securely process credit card transactions and remain PCI compliant. When you enter your card information, Tribe creates a stand-in “token” to represent your card number. This makes it near impossible for someone to get at your actual credit card information and helps reduce fraud.
Our networking infrastructure is stored in the NextDC S1 Sydney data centre, it's protected by advanced physical security systems and protocols. These include a multi-layered access system using combined biometric fingerprint technology and ID access cards, an extensive CCTV network and 24/7 onsite security staff.
We provide free DNS-based malware filtering on all home broadband plans. The filter uses threat intelligence to identify what websites are known to include malware or other threats. If the filter detects that the site you want to reach is known to be infected, you’ll automatically be blocked from entry – keeping your data and computer safe.
